BR(S) Ex Norwood Junction Station

This clock came to us in this lovely ex-service condition and represents a scarce opportunity to acquire an original un-touched railway clock. All we have needed to do is clean the fusee mechanism and wax the Oak woodwork. Ex Southern Railway, Norwood Station Junction, Platform 3, the 12inch dial has been re-written in later service life 'B 24(S), unusually, the letter R from BR was overwritten when the 24hour numerals were added. Nicely signed 'John Walker 1 South Molton St London 10425'. The case is clearly stamped 10425 and the rear of the dial has several railway repair shop markings referencing the clock identity. The chain driven fusee movement runs well and keeping good time. Please view images for condition details.
