GWR 12inch clock

An attractive Great Western Railway 12inch fusee railway clock in very good ex-service condition. The original untouched dial retains the GWR Roundel or 'Shirtbutton' circular Art Deco monogram which was in use during the period 1934–1942, dating the clock quite accurately. Solid mahogany back box with original ivorine number plate ‘3847’ brass pinned to the bottom right-hand corner. Turned mahogany dial surround with spun brass bezel. Wire driven English fusee movement with turned pillars, original pendulum and winding key. Mechanism keeps accurate time and in good working condition. Please view images for condition details.
